Este ano o realizador Tobe Hooper é um dos convidados de honra do MOTELx, onde são exibidos alguns dos seus filmes, entre eles o clássico MASSACRE NO TEXAS, que é capaz de ser um dos filmes mais inquietantes e histéricos da história do cinema.

Para além desse título ele deu-nos outros filmes capazes de fazer as delícias dos fãs do género, no quais eu me incluo, como por exemplo POLTERGEIST e AS FORÇAS DO UNIVERSO. Depois dos anos 80 a sua carreira nunca mais foi a mesma e a qualidade dos filmes decaiu, mas pode ser que o novo DJINN seja o seu regresso em força.

Entretanto, reuni posters (incluindo os portugueses) de todos os seus filmes e criei esta galeria que é a minha sincera homenagem a este grande nome do cinema de terror e fantástico. Espero que gostem.

This is year, director Tobe Hooper is MOTELx’s guest honor and his classic THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, easily one of the most disturbing and hysterical movies in cinema History, is one of the movies that will be shown.

Besides that movie, he also gave us other movies capable of delighting genre fans like me, like POLTERGEIST and LIFEFORCE. Lately his career as been down hill, but maybe his new movie DJINN will put him back in the right track.

Meanwhile, I decided to create a small gallery of posters of all his movies, including some Portuguese ones, and this is my sincere tribute to this big name of the horror genre. I hope you’ll like it.
