THE LAZARUS EFFECT by David Gelb

The Plot: A group of medical students discover a way to bring the dead back to life, but something goes wrong…

The Best: The dog.

The Worst: Let me see… the uninteresting and long scientific talks, the killings, the absence of chemistry between the characters… I can go on and on, but that’s enough.

The cast: The gals, Olivia Wilde and Sarah Bolger, are pretty, the guys not so much. Unfortunately, they all seem out of place and act like if they want to be somewhere else.

The Movie:  Do you remember the movie FLATLINERS? Well, this seems like a bad remake of that movie. The idea is the same, but there aren’t any real characters, no suspense, no goosebumps, the killings are children stuff and its 83 minutes are boring. One outdoor scene with a couple of extras is shown in two different occasions. I’m a huge fan of horror movies, but this one is really bad and no fun at all.

My Rate: 1 (from 1 to 10)
